THE QUAYS also serves Breakfast and is much quieter, they have omelets, scrambled eggs with salmon, full English, various pancakes and cereal, and pastries The food in Horizon I'm afraid was bland and tasteless there was a good choice but very haphazard ie roast lamb, and roast potatoes but only one veg mostly broccoli, also if you don't see something ask especially fruit, marmite, etc the staff are happy to find it On the whole, the quality of food was much worse than last year and for some unknown reason, the managers had a habit of shutting half the restaurant down even when busy.The skydome also has a variety of shows again individual taste but the acoustics in there are awful getting a seat can be a task and ordering drinks again a lack of staff CABIN This was very good plenty of space for two with a wardrobe, shelves, room under the bed for cases, and safe, we had a balcony cabin with a sliding door (beware some cabins have hinge doors on lower decks and at the front of the ship).Read More

MSC - Surprisingly good Western Caribbean trip

Casino - I play quite a bit on other cruise lines and the comp system on MSC is not good for the money at risk if you play table games.Specialty Dining (4 meals) was very good and service as excellent even if slow on a few nights.Read More

Excellent 14 day cruise

Their maintenance crew does an excellent job at maintaining the ship and can be seen throughout the cruise maintaining the public spaces.This was our third cruise to Alaska (prior Costa and Celebrity), and our third cruise on HAL (Konigsdam and Eurodam) The Nieuw Amsterdam (NA) is about 12 years old and is in great condition.Read More

Better than expected

This room comes with the suite perks without access to the Haven which was a great way to save some money and still feel spoiled.We didn’t use the concierge much as I pre booked dining and wasn’t super into the entertainment( now if they had Beetlejuice maybe) The buffet was small and food was mediocre and very meat heavy.Read More
